The Lie by C.L. Taylor
This is what I meant by sticking notes on pages.

I better write the reviews here or it seemed to other people that I was too carried away with TSL literature study.

I could not say that I didnt understand this storyline. It was perfectly arranged albeit the not-so-flowy chronology. It started with the present day, five years earlier  and present day back, and five years earlier back. It was very good, not too much didactic but it made me understand throughout the whole plot.

The best thing about this book is that it made me unstoppable. By the time Adzan Subuh comes, I havent stopped reading! See! I want to stop on that particular chapter but the subending was really making me to continue. Full of suspense, intriguing, and whoa!

I could imagine
Naomi Watts as Jane/Emma
Tiffany Thornton as the ruined Daisy
John Edward Lee as Isaac
Breandan Fraser as Will
Hillary Clinton as Sheila (when she mentioned about the age)
Brandon Smith as Barry or Larry I forgot the name hahaha coz he only showed up in a few minor scenes
Kpop Singer as Al
Hisyam Hamid as Johan
Alyson Stoner as Isis
Kevin Nealon as Frank

The rest are some other non-existing human I pictured lol

Jane was working at animal sanctuary, receiving some threats from dead friends (might be alive or????) that werent surviving in Nepal. 5 years earlier, they planned to bring the upset Al as she was dumped by a lesbian partner, Simone, to Nepal for some peace-catching. But it all turned dark when the host of the place in Ekanta Yantra was tryna put a hard control on them.

Isaac was first seen as a typical guy who caught the eyes of every girl going to his place, and use sex as the attraction to make them stick closer. But in the mid of story, Isaac made me think he wad a good man after rescuing Jane/Emma that he didnt touch her while they were taking a shelter in a hut. Daisy was a good friend and a slut sometimes but friend is still a friend but I couldnt believe she turned to be a real bitch. But, I could expect that. Well, I was not that incredulous to read her attitude when she misunderstood about a friend of hers was trying to lure a man. Coz I got one in my real life. hahaha. And Leanne, a very innocent one, not really, but for me she was looking fine and innocent but no, she was the one who blowed anything up. And Jane, in five years later, needef to deal with journalist who fake her job to cut the distance between her and Jane, and receiving a letter with threatening messages, facebook messenger from a friend who was supposed to die back in 5 years, and than God, the existence of Will who worked as a teacher, made me feel relieved. He wasnt a cold person, helping Jane to cope with the creepy threat carefully, and Chloe, Will's daughter cheered up their life.

No regret gaining weight only to lie down getting into this fiction. Read lah!

:)
