and I couldnt figure Jake's face, the main character tho
I honestly bought it because of its synopsis and cover potraying some thrilling chilling eerie creep down my spine but it was actually about politics and war! George Fuad was taking the vampires for granted to gain power. jake Lawton, some kind of ghost buster, or warrior, loved by David and the gang, and Aaliyah, her lover was lost somewhere but he was led by a dream to get into an abandoned chappel and release Ereshkigal. A vampire. Promising to help Lawton to find Nimrod and kill him to stop the rage of vampires agains human. Ereshkigal was Nimrod's bride. (one of many) Dressed in white for ever. Lawton accidently allied with her just to find Nimrod and that wasnt making any sense. haha but he eventually be led to the war to stop nimrod from being resurrected but still, he was resurrected by Alfred Fuaf who was dumb to sacrifice his life for his scumbag brother who tried to rule Britain. The war finally ended, by Lawton, that he didnt know what happened to his body, contaminated or not but David and the gang never make it to reunite with Jake. (or was it me who slept thru these pages of reunion???)
Okay, just done, just nice, or maybe i m going to reread it in future.
