I can say that the ending was a little but frustrating. It doesnt make me feel suspense, flinch at a bit of any particular scenes but it gives good knowledge for those who love animals or geography or any relevant stuff.
I sometime see
George Clooney but sometimes Matthew McConaughey (bad spelling) as Patricm
Juliaane Moore (young one) as Jane
Olesya Ruulin (in HSM, the innocent look) as Jo
Ellar Coltrane (the time he grew up in Boyhood) as Charlie
The professor in Birth Secret Korean Drama as Mr. Nately
and blerghh
For those who appreciate nature (courseee I do, but I kind of a sluggard in seeking infos about animals, wild and tame natures, woods stuff), you can read this novel. The synopsis said something about panther-like cat that preyed on living things there but at the end of it, I couldnt say I was stunned! This novel was filled with conflict, almost-dysfunctional family for having a son like Charlie, dismayed by his life, Jo who was so engulfed in her study but didnt mean she didnt do good in her family matter, Jane who was the zoologist, travelling to places with Richard who seemed to lead the jealousy blowing up in Patrick, coz they seemed nice together.
First, they spoke about the death of Rue, the monkey. maybe big. I forgot. And they were finding truth behind the mortification but it only took few pages of the suspense. The rest of it were about their family matters, letter from Jane who went away to get Bili (the other species of monkey) with Richard, about her life there, what she saw and felt and found, and all those tragedies caused by Charlie. not more than 10 pages before the end of it, there came the revelation of the mystery. the readers would be carried away with the family history, family problems throughout the whole book and almost forgot the problem.
I didnt say that this novel is absurd, it was only me who didnt get the position of a good reader of any nice fiction. It was well-crafted by the author and but the prose structure he displayed made me love it. Neil Cross is a good writer, I swear 😊😊
So, read!
